Now this is where i tell you about me. No, my name is not really Iris PhoenixWolf, I was born on June 10. I am a Gemini and an Air baby. I was born and raised in Texas, were I still reside. I am part Mexican/ Native American ( not sure which tribe) and part German. The Mexican/ Native American part come from my mothers' father side and my birth fathers' side. There German is from my mothers' mother side.
I was raised in a "christian" family, I use quotations because not everyone in my family lived up to the title and the religion. I was dedicated when I was very little as Assembly of God, but spent majority of my youth going to a local Baptist church. I never really followed the religion either but since it was what I thought I was suppose to be doing I went along with the game of church. It was not until after my oldest was born that I felt detached from the church. I did not feel like it was were I needed to be. So I left the church never going back. I went the next few years just doing nothing with religion. Things did not improve and I ended up with daughter number two. When she was about two years old I knew I had to do something. My life was not progressing forward and I was at a stand still. I had to start taking my life back. I was in a pretty icky relationship and my self esteem was reaching its all time low. I remember back in high school when me and my small group of friends dabbled in the unknown of witchcraft. We cast a few spells but nothing ever happened. Not because we did not believe, but because we did not know what we were doing.
I searched many spells and finally I stumbled upon a web site about paganism. I was intrigued and my interest was sparked. I continued my research learning whatever I could find online. That is when it happened. I was twenty-four years old when I discovered I was meant for this. To be a Witch and sadly I have strayed away from that path over the years. Just recently I have begun again. I am a Eclectic Solitary Witch. I am interested in kitchen witchery, herbs, gems and crystals. I am still in the early stages and have yet to dedicate myself into the craft. My boyfriend, Drago, is also Eclectic, but wishes to expand his magick by learning Draconic Wicca. We have two beautiful little girls who we are raising as pagans as well. Me and my family are not publicly "out of the broom closet". A few of my family knows ( which means only three) and none of Dragos' family or our friends. But all that will be in good time. Baby steps first. We have two dogs, a Brussels Griffin named Rufus, he's pretty old, and a chocolate lab mix named Coco Bean. We live in a super small town in Central Texas.
